I come to you with only, Karate, empty hands. I have no weapons, but should I be forced to defend myself, my principals, or my honor, should it be life or death, right or wrong, then here are my weapons, Karate, my empty hands.


          K E N P O   C O D E              
I will strive to be as a Tiger; strong and confident. I will strive to be as a Dragon; prudent and humble. I will respect what has come before and follow it's teachings, as I become a leader with courage to challenge tradition. Through the discipline of MIND, BODY, & SPIRIT, I will strive for wisdom and justice, raising a shield of honor for myself and the art of Kenpo Karate.


       S T U D E N T S   C R E E D     
I will solemnly pledge to use the art of Kenpo solely for the purpose of defense, never for purpose of aggression. I will treat with respect both my teachers and fellow students. I will strive to learn an attitude of respect for the teaching of Kenpo and an understanding of the responsibility that knowledge of Kenpo entails. I will never use Kenpo for harmful or destructive ends. I make these promises solemnly and on my honor.
